Natural Orange Jelly

Preparing 25 min
Chilling: about 3 hours
Ingredients: Method:

400 ml freshly squeezed orange juice (4 large oranges)

Cut in halves the oranges and squeeze the juice

Strain the orange  juice

Squeeze the oranges and strain the juice to remove pips. 
1/2 lemon, only juice
100 ml water
100 g granulated sugar

Add the lemon juiceAdd the water

Add the lemon juice and water. 
Pour the mixture into the pot and heat gentlyStir until the sugar dissolves
Pour the mixture to a saucepan and heat to around 70°C. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.

5 gelatin leaves

Place the gelatin leaves in the cold waterPlace the gelatin leaves in the cold water

Place the gelatin into ice-cold water for 5 minutes until soft. 
Pop the squeezed gelatin leaves in the juice
Squeeze the gelatin of any excess water and stir into the orange juice until dissolved.

 3 mandarins

Peel the mandarins

Cut each segment of the mandarin in half

Peel the mandarins and divide into segments. Half each segment of the mandarins.

Place the chunks of the mandarins in ramekins

Prepare 6 glass remekins or shallow glasses. Place 6-10 mandarin chunks in each remekin. Feel free to add more fruits, if you like.
Fill each glass with the mixture covering the fruits
Pour the mixture in each remekin covering the mandarin segments. Pop in the fridge and chill for at least 3 hours until set.
